The UPONOR 92122 is a 3/4-inch CTS (Copper Tube Size) white PEX-A tubing supplied in a 100-foot roll. PEX-A is manufactured using the Engel peroxide cross-linking method, which produces the highest degree of cross-linking among PEX types and results in superior flexibility and shape memory compared to PEX-B or PEX-C. This tubing is used in potable water distribution, radiant heating, and hydronic systems. Licensed plumbers and mechanical contractors are the primary installers. The 3/4-inch CTS sizing makes it a direct functional match for standard 3/4-inch copper supply lines in residential and light commercial applications.
This tubing is suited for residential hot and cold potable water supply systems, radiant floor heating loops, and snow-melt applications. The 100-foot roll length is practical for trunk-and-branch distributions, home-run manifold systems, and radiant panel installations where continuous runs are needed. White color coding is commonly used to indicate a general-purpose or cold-water line, though local conventions may vary. The flexible nature of PEX-A allows it to be routed through walls and framing with fewer fittings than rigid copper or CPVC.
Designed for use with 3/4-inch CTS PEX fittings in residential and light commercial plumbing and hydronic systems. Consult fitting manufacturer specifications to confirm compatibility with expansion, crimp, or clamp connection styles.
Installation of PEX-A tubing should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local codes. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before making any connections. Use only fittings and tools rated for PEX-A tubing at the specified diameter. Avoid kinking the tubing during routing; PEX-A can be gently heat-straightened if kinked, but damaged sections should be cut out and replaced.
