The Uniweld UNI-17-1 is a single flame tip used for welding, brazing, heating, and soldering. This tip is made from brass and copper, designed for use with acetylene fuel. It is ideal for welding metal thicknesses ranging from three sixty-fourths of an inch to three thirty-seconds of an inch, and for brazing copper tubing up to three-quarters of an inch. The tip utilizes a 1/4-27 (M,F) elbow/mixer thread specification. It operates at an oxygen pressure of five PSIG and an acetylene pressure of five PSIG, with an acetylene consumption rate between three and six SCFH.
