The UNITED ELECTRIC CONTROLS H100-189 is a general-purpose diaphragm pressure switch rated for an adjustable setpoint range of 250 to 3500 psi. It is designed for industrial and commercial pressure monitoring applications where reliable electromechanical switching is required. The switch features a dual SPDT contact form and accepts voltages of 125 volts AC, 250 volts AC, 480 volts AC, and 24 to 30 volts DC or 125 volts DC. The aluminum housing carries a Type 4X enclosure rating, making it suitable for wet, corrosive, and washdown environments. Licensed HVAC technicians, instrumentation specialists, and industrial service professionals typically install this switch in high-pressure fluid and gas systems.
The H100-189 is well suited for high-pressure process control, compressor protection, hydraulic systems, and industrial HVAC applications where precise pressure actuation is required. The 1/2-inch NPTF female electrical connection provides a secure, thread-sealed interface. The adjustable deadband range of 50 to 300 psi allows technicians to tune hysteresis to match the demands of the specific system. Applications span both residential-adjacent commercial systems and heavier industrial installations where SIL 2 or SIL 3 safety integrity levels are mandated by process safety requirements.
Designed as an OEM-style or direct replacement general-purpose diaphragm pressure switch for industrial, commercial, and high-pressure HVAC or process systems requiring a 1/2-inch NPTF connection and multi-voltage SPDT switching capability.
Installation should be performed by a licensed technician or instrumentation specialist familiar with high-pressure fluid and gas systems. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before removing any existing pressure switch or making new connections. Verify that system operating pressure does not exceed the 4000 psi maximum pressure rating of the switch. All wiring must comply with applicable electrical codes, including NEC requirements for the intended voltage and current rating.
