The UNITED ELECTRIC CONTROLS H100-188 is a general purpose diaphragm pressure switch designed to monitor and respond to system pressure changes in industrial and commercial applications. The switch uses a diaphragm sensing element to detect pressure and trigger an electrical switching action when a set point is reached. It accepts a 1/2 inch NPTF threaded connection and is rated to a maximum pressure setting of 2000 psi. The H100-188 weighs 3 pounds and is built for demanding service environments where reliable pressure detection is essential. Licensed instrumentation technicians, HVAC mechanics, and industrial maintenance professionals are the typical installers.
The H100-188 is suited for use in commercial HVAC systems, compressed air systems, hydraulic circuits, and process control installations where general purpose pressure monitoring is required. The diaphragm sensing design makes it appropriate for both liquid and gas pressure applications. The 1/2 inch NPTF port provides a secure, pressure-tight threaded connection to standard pipe fittings commonly found in mechanical and process systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure switch for general purpose diaphragm pressure switch applications requiring a 1/2 inch NPTF threaded connection and a maximum pressure setting of 2000 psi.
Installation should be performed by a licensed instrumentation technician, industrial mechanic, or qualified HVAC professional. Depressurize and de-energize the system completely before removing any existing pressure switch or making new connections. Use appropriate thread sealant rated for the service media and pressure range on the NPTF threads. Verify the system operating pressure does not exceed the maximum pressure setting of the switch before returning the system to service.
