The UGL 90237 is a 4-inch synthetic bristle masonry brush built for applying thick, full-bodied coatings to concrete, brick, stone, wood siding, and decking. The chiseled tip profile helps work coating into surface pores for consistent, professional results. Extra-firm bristles maintain shape under load, reducing drag and improving transfer efficiency with heavy masonry waterproofers and floor paints. The brush is reusable, making it a practical addition to any applicator kit for recurring waterproofing or surface prep work. Licensed applicators and experienced DIYers handling masonry restoration projects will find the stiffness level well-matched to the viscosity of latex masonry products.
The 90237 is suited for both interior and exterior applications across a wide range of surfaces and coating types. It is designed to work with latex masonry waterproofers, concrete floor paints, etching compounds, deck and siding stains, and other full-bodied coatings. Surfaces include poured concrete, concrete block, brick, stone, wood decking, patios, and wood siding. The 4-inch width makes it effective for both broad flat areas and tighter sections along edges, joints, and corners where rollers cannot reach.
Designed for use with Drylok Latex Masonry Waterproofer, Drylok Extreme Masonry Waterproofer, Drylok Latex Concrete Floor Paint, and Drylok Etch. Also suitable for deck and siding stains and other full-bodied coatings on concrete, brick, stone, masonry, wood siding, and wood decking.
Surface preparation should be completed before application, including cleaning, patching, and any required etching per the coating manufacturer's instructions. Proper eye and skin protection should be worn when applying masonry waterproofers or etching compounds. Clean the brush immediately after use according to the cleanup requirements of the specific coating applied, as latex products typically allow water cleanup while the coating is still wet.
