The UGL 28615 is a ceramic-fortified waterproofing paint designed for masonry and concrete surfaces in demanding interior and exterior conditions. It stops water penetration up to 12 psi, equivalent to a column of water over 26 feet high. The formula is specially engineered to resist mildew growth using a nonhazardous green biocide integrated into the paint film. Coverage runs 75 to 100 square feet per gallon, making the 5-gallon pail well suited for larger basement or retaining wall projects. It cleans up with soap and water. Testing compliance includes ASTM D-7088 for hydrostatic pressure resistance and ASTM D-6904 for wind-driven rain resistance.
This waterproofer is appropriate for residential and commercial masonry applications, above or below grade. Suitable surfaces include basement walls, retaining walls, foundations, landscape walls, cinder blocks, concrete blocks, bare concrete swimming pools, stucco, and brick. The 5-gallon format is practical for contractors and trade pros handling large wall areas or multi-surface jobs. The product is tintable using up to 50 percent of a standard color formula, not to exceed 2 fluid ounces of colorant per gallon.
Designed for use on interior and exterior, above or below grade masonry surfaces including basement walls, retaining walls, foundations, landscape walls, cinder blocks, concrete blocks, bare concrete swimming pools, stucco, and brick.
Application is typically performed by painting contractors or experienced trades working on masonry and concrete structures. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of efflorescence, loose material, or previous coatings that may prevent adhesion before application. Follow all local building codes and manufacturer surface preparation guidelines. Allow adequate cure time before exposing the coating to water or backfilling against treated walls.
