Ubiquiti UACC-CABLE-PATCH-OUTDOOR-8M-BK Outdoor CAT6 Patch Cable

Product Description

The UBIQUITI UACC-CABLE-PATCH-OUTDOOR-8M-BK is an outdoor-rated CAT6 patch cable measuring 8 meters in length and finished in black. Engineered for exterior and weatherized network installations, this cable provides a reliable structured cabling connection between outdoor access points, switches, and other network equipment. Its outdoor rating makes it suitable for runs exposed to moisture and UV conditions where standard indoor patch cables are not appropriate. Network technicians and low-voltage installers use this cable in point-to-point connections requiring a pre-terminated, ready-to-deploy solution.

This patch cable is intended for outdoor network deployments including wireless access point installations, surveillance camera runs, and exterior switch connections in both light commercial and residential environments. It is well suited for use with UBIQUITI UniFi and airMAX outdoor networking hardware where a pre-made patch cable of defined length simplifies deployment. The 8-meter length covers typical equipment-to-mounting-point distances without requiring field termination.

Key Features

• Outdoor-rated construction suitable for exterior and weatherized installations
• CAT6 category rating supports Gigabit Ethernet and standard PoE applications
• 8-meter fixed length eliminates field termination for defined runs
• Black jacket for discreet routing in exterior environments
• Pre-terminated and ready to deploy out of the box

Compatibility

Designed as an outdoor-rated patch cable replacement or addition for CAT6 structured cabling systems requiring pre-terminated runs in exterior network installations.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage technician familiar with structured cabling standards such as TIA-568. De-energize connected PoE switches or injectors before making or breaking connections at active ports. Avoid sharp bends that exceed the cable minimum bend radius, and secure the cable with UV-rated fasteners when routing along exterior surfaces. Confirm connector seating at both ends before restoring power to the circuit.
