The TYLER PIPE 4014 is a cast iron DWV combination wye and bend fitting designed for drain, waste, and vent piping systems in residential and commercial construction. This no-hub fitting combines a wye branch and a 1/8 bend into a single casting, allowing a branch line to tie into a main drain run at a swept angle that promotes smooth flow and reduces the risk of blockage. At 4 inches nominal diameter with an overall length of 9.5 inches, the 4014 is sized for main drain stacks and large horizontal branch lines. Cast iron construction meets CISPI 301 and ASTM A888 standards, making it appropriate for both above-grade and below-grade soil, waste, and vent applications. Licensed plumbers specify and install this fitting.
The TYLER PIPE 4014 is suited for residential and light commercial DWV systems where a 4-inch main line requires a branch takeoff with directional change in a single fitting. Typical applications include main soil stack connections, floor drain tie-ins, and horizontal branch-to-stack transitions in new construction or remodel work. The no-hub end style accepts standard shielded no-hub couplings, making it compatible with hubless cast iron pipe systems throughout. TYLER PIPE strongly recommends joining this fitting with shielded couplings manufactured to CISPI 310. Use of unshielded couplings or couplings that do not meet CISPI 310 will void the product warranty.
Designed for use in hubless cast iron DWV piping systems. All 1.5-inch diameter and larger cast iron soil pipe and fittings for above and below grade soil, waste, vent lines, rain water conductors, and storm drainage lines must bear the NO HUB insignia confirming compliance with CISPI 301 or ASTM A888. Must be joined with shielded couplings manufactured to CISPI 310.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the applicable plumbing code, including the International Plumbing Code (IPC) where adopted. Shut off the water supply and ensure the drain system is depressurized and drained before cutting into an existing line. Use only CISPI 310 shielded no-hub couplings to join this fitting to cast iron pipe; unshielded couplings are not acceptable and will void the warranty. Torque shielded coupling bands to the coupling manufacturer's specified value using a torque-limiting screwdriver or nut driver.
