The TWECO 1640-1117 is a metal conductor tube designed for use with Classic No. 4 Professional MIG welding guns. The conductor tube is a key contact component in the MIG gun assembly, guiding the welding wire through the gun neck and transferring current to the wire at the point of contact. This unit is built at a 60-degree bend angle, which suits out-of-position and tight-access welding work. Installation and replacement are performed by welding technicians and maintenance personnel as part of routine gun servicing.
This conductor tube is specified for Classic No. 4 Professional MIG gun configurations. The 60-degree angle makes it well suited for welding applications where torch access is restricted or where a curved approach to the weld joint is required, such as in fabrication, structural, and maintenance welding environments. Sold individually.
Designed for use with TWECO Classic No. 4 Professional MIG guns.
Conductor tube replacement should be performed by a qualified welding technician. Always disconnect the MIG gun from the welder power source and allow the gun to cool completely before handling any contact components. Inspect the gun neck and liner condition during replacement to identify any additional wear. Follow the gun manufacturer's assembly instructions and applicable workplace safety standards when servicing MIG gun components.
