The TWECO 1640-1113 is an 80-degree conductor tube designed for MIG welding guns in the Professional Series lineup. The conductor tube is the curved neck section that guides the welding wire from the gun body to the contact tip, transferring both wire and welding current through the front end of the gun. At 12.8 inches in length and weighing 0.85 pounds, it is a direct replacement component installed by welding technicians and fabricators performing front-end maintenance or after a damaged neck assembly. Proper conductor tube condition directly affects arc stability and wire feed consistency.
This conductor tube fits Professional Series No. 3 and No. 4 MIG guns rated at 300 and 400 amps. It is suited for industrial and fabrication shop environments where heavier-duty MIG welding is performed. The 80-degree bend angle suits out-of-position welding and applications where a moderate neck angle improves torch access in tight joint configurations. Sold individually, it is a standard consumable replacement item for shops maintaining a fleet of TWECO Professional Series guns.
Fits TWECO Professional Series No. 3 and No. 4 MIG guns rated at 300 and 400 amps.
Conductor tube replacement is performed by qualified welding technicians or maintenance personnel. Disconnect the welding gun from the wire feeder and power source before beginning any front-end service. Remove the contact tip and nozzle assembly before unthreading the conductor tube from the gun body. Follow the gun manufacturer's torque guidance for reassembly to avoid cross-threading or loose electrical connections.
