The TWECO 1640-1110 is a fibre conductor tube designed for use with Tweco Eliminator MIG gun systems. The conductor tube guides the welding wire from the gun neck to the contact tip, maintaining accurate wire alignment and supporting consistent arc performance. Made from fibre construction, it provides electrical isolation where needed within the gun assembly. This part is angled at 60 degrees, making it suited for welding positions and joint access angles that require a defined gun neck orientation. Welding technicians and MIG gun service professionals install this component during routine gun maintenance or after wear-related failure.
This conductor tube is compatible with the Tweco Eliminator line of MIG guns, covering multiple Eliminator configurations used in light industrial and production welding environments. It fits Compact Eliminator, Eliminator Pull, Eliminator Spool, and Standard Eliminator MIG Guns, as well as the flexible Knucklehead configuration. It is sold individually and serves as a direct replacement component during scheduled maintenance or unplanned downtime on the gun assembly.
Designed for use with Tweco Eliminator MIG Consumables. Compatible with Compact Eliminator, Eliminator Pull, Eliminator Spool, and Standard Eliminator MIG Guns, as well as the flexible Knucklehead configuration.
Installation is performed by welding equipment technicians or qualified MIG gun service personnel. Always disconnect the MIG gun from the wire feeder and power source before disassembling the gun neck or replacing internal components. Handle the fibre tube carefully to avoid cracking or chipping during installation, as physical damage can affect wire alignment and arc stability. Refer to the Tweco Eliminator gun service documentation for proper reassembly sequence before returning the gun to service.
