The TWECO 1630-1137 is a metal conductor tube designed for use with Tweco Eliminator MIG consumable systems. The conductor tube serves as the current-carrying contact point between the wire feed and the weld puddle, directing the electrode wire through the gun neck and into the arc zone. This unit features a 60-degree bend angle, making it suited for out-of-position and confined-space welding applications where a straight tube cannot achieve proper torch-to-work alignment. Installation is performed by welding professionals and MIG gun service technicians during scheduled consumable replacement or gun rebuilds.
This conductor tube is compatible with the Tweco Eliminator line of MIG guns, including Compact Eliminator, Eliminator Pull, Eliminator Spool, and Standard Eliminator MIG Guns, as well as the flexible Knucklehead configuration. It is used in light industrial, fabrication, and production welding environments where Tweco Eliminator consumables are the specified system. The 60-degree bend angle addresses applications requiring angled torch positioning in tight weld joints or around obstructions.
Designed for use with Tweco Eliminator MIG consumables and compatible with Compact Eliminator, Eliminator Pull, Eliminator Spool, and Standard Eliminator MIG Guns, as well as the flexible Knucklehead configuration.
Conductor tube replacement is performed by qualified welding equipment technicians or experienced MIG gun service personnel. Before servicing, disconnect the welding power source and allow the gun and consumables to cool completely. Use appropriate hand tools to remove the existing tube and seat the replacement securely to ensure full electrical contact. Follow the gun manufacturer's assembly sequence to avoid cross-threading or improper seating of the conductor tube.
