The TWECO 1630-1116 is a 60-degree conductor tube designed for use with Classic No. 3 Professional MIG welding guns. The conductor tube channels welding current from the gun body to the contact tip, serving as a critical current-transfer and wire-guide component in the MIG gun assembly. It is manufactured from metal construction and measures approximately 9.8 inches in length. Replacement of worn or damaged conductor tubes is a routine maintenance task performed by welders and welding equipment technicians to maintain arc consistency and safe gun operation.
This conductor tube is intended for Classic No. 3 Professional MIG gun applications. The 60-degree neck angle suits positional and out-of-position welding where a curved gun neck improves access to tight joint configurations. It is sold individually and fits standard MIG gun setups where the No. 3 platform is specified.
Designed as a replacement conductor tube for TWECO Classic No. 3 Professional MIG guns.
Conductor tube replacement should be performed by a qualified welder or welding equipment technician. Disconnect and de-energize the welding power source and allow the gun to cool completely before disassembling the neck. Follow the gun manufacturer's assembly instructions for proper seating and secure connection to prevent arcing at the joint. Inspect the contact tip and liner condition whenever the conductor tube is replaced.
