The TWECO 1620-1300 is a 45-degree conductor tube designed for use with the Classic No. 2 Professional MIG gun. Also called a neck or gooseneck, the conductor tube directs the wire feed and carries welding current from the handle assembly to the contact tip end. It is a wear and replacement consumable serviced by welding technicians and MIG gun maintenance personnel. At 0.45 pounds and measuring approximately 8.6 inches in length, this metal conductor tube is a direct-fit replacement consumable for Classic No. 2 gun configurations requiring a 45-degree bend angle.
This conductor tube is intended for MIG welding applications in fabrication shops, manufacturing facilities, and field welding environments where Classic No. 2 Professional MIG gun setups are in service. The 45-degree angle suits flat and horizontal welding positions where moderate torch angle access is needed. TWECO Classic No. 2 conductor tubes are also available in 60, 80, and 180-degree configurations as well as a flexible Knucklehead option for varied access requirements.

Conductor tube replacement is performed by qualified welding equipment technicians or experienced MIG gun operators. Disconnect the gun from the wire feeder and ensure the power source is off before disassembly. Remove the contact tip and nozzle before unthreading or unlatching the existing conductor tube. Follow the gun manufacturer's assembly torque guidance and inspect liner seating when reinstalling.
