The TWECO 1610-1102 is a 60-degree conductor tube designed for use with the Classic No. 1 Professional MIG welding gun. Constructed from neoprene rubber, this conductor tube channels welding current and guides the wire from the gun neck to the contact tip. It is a direct consumable replacement component used by welders and MIG gun technicians performing routine maintenance or restoring gun performance. The part weighs 0.22 pounds and measures 8.5 inches in length, making it a compact replacement suited for confined welding positions where the 60-degree angle provides the right approach geometry.
This conductor tube is intended for use in MIG welding applications where the Classic No. 1 Professional gun is the primary torch. The 60-degree bend angle suits flat, horizontal, and overhead welding positions in both shop and field environments. Fabricators, maintenance welders, and production technicians working with light to medium MIG setups will find this a direct-fit consumable for restoring gun function without replacing the full assembly. The neoprene rubber construction provides flexibility and resistance to heat and spatter common in MIG welding environments.
Designed for use with the TWECO Classic No. 1 Professional MIG gun. TWECO Classic No. 1 conductor tubes are also available in 45, 60, 80, and 180 degree configurations and a flexible Knucklehead style.
Installation is performed by welders or MIG gun service technicians. Before replacing the conductor tube, disconnect the welding gun from the wire feeder and power source to eliminate the risk of arc or wire-feed activation. Remove the existing contact tip and nozzle assembly before extracting the worn conductor tube. Follow the gun manufacturer's assembly sequence when reinstalling consumables to ensure proper electrical contact and wire alignment.
