The TWECO 1560-1116 is a brass MIG gas diffuser designed for use in the Eliminator series MIG gun platform, rated for welding applications up to 600 amps. Machined from 360 brass alloy bar stock, this diffuser delivers consistent dimensional stability and reliable electrical conductivity across light to medium duty welding cycles. It features an M12 x 1.5-6g coarse external thread that allows nozzle assemblies to thread over and lock securely during operation. Six 0.094-inch gas holes provide even shielding gas distribution at the weld pool. A silicone O-ring seals the diffuser against the nozzle assembly to prevent gas leakage. Sold in packs of 5.
This gas diffuser is suited for light to medium duty MIG welding applications up to 600 amps. It is compatible with coarse thread nozzle assemblies and the Tweco Eliminator front-end consumable system, including 600A Eliminator MIG guns. The 2.521-inch length and M12 coarse thread design are specific to that platform. The conduit liner accommodates wire up to 1/16 inch in diameter. The part number is roll-stamped on the external surface along with the overall length and the replacement O-ring part number for quick field identification. Replacement O-ring part number is EL54-1 (stock number 1560-1118).
Compatible with Tweco Eliminator series 600A MIG guns and Eliminator front-end consumables that use coarse thread nozzle assemblies. Accepts wire up to 1/16 inch via conduit liner. Replacement O-ring: EL54-1, stock number 1560-1118.
Installation is performed by a qualified welding technician or maintenance professional. Power down and de-energize the MIG gun and wire feeder before replacing consumables. Thread the diffuser onto the conductor tube to the proper hand-tight seating before installing the nozzle assembly over the coarse thread. Inspect the silicone O-ring for damage at each consumable change to maintain a proper gas seal.
