The TWECO 1500-1100 is a standard-duty brass gas diffuser designed for MIG welding applications up to 200 amps. Machined from 360-brass alloy bar stock, it delivers consistent dimensional stability and reliable electrical conductivity in light-to-medium duty welding environments. The diffuser measures 1.714 inches in overall length and features an M9 x 1.25-6G threaded external surface that allows nozzle assemblies to thread over and lock in place during the welding process. Four 0.094-inch gas holes ensure even shielding gas distribution at the weld zone. The part number is roll-stamped on the external surface for quick field identification. Sold in a pack of 5.
This gas diffuser is intended for use with slip-on and thread-on nozzle assemblies compatible with the Tweco 11 Series Mini-MIG gun platform, as well as Tweco Eliminator front-end consumables. It suits light-to-medium duty production and fabrication welding in shop and field environments. The conduit set screw accommodates the conduit liner in place, and the threaded conductor tube end mates correctly with standard MIG gun torch bodies. Licensed welders and MIG welding technicians performing routine consumable maintenance will find this a direct-fit replacement for worn or damaged diffusers in compatible setups.
Designed for use with Tweco 11 Series Mini-MIG gun slip-on and thread-on nozzle assemblies and Tweco Eliminator front-end consumables rated up to 200 amps.
Gas diffuser replacement is performed by a qualified MIG welding technician as part of routine front-end consumable maintenance. Always power down the welder and allow the torch to cool completely before removing worn diffusers. Thread the replacement diffuser onto the conductor tube by hand first to avoid cross-threading, then snug with the appropriate wrench. Verify the conduit liner is properly seated and the set screw is tightened before resuming welding operations.
