The TWECO 1450-1114 is a steel wound conduit liner engineered for MIG welding applications that require reliable wire feed through the gun cable. Rated for 500 to 650 amps and measuring 15 feet in length, this liner accommodates wire diameters from 0.052 inches to 1/16 inch. The steel wound construction maintains consistent inner diameter under high heat and heavy-duty welding cycles. Licensed welders, fabricators, and MIG gun technicians rely on this liner to reduce feed resistance and prevent bird-nesting at the drive roll. It is a direct-fit consumable that keeps wire tracking smooth from feeder to contact tip.
This liner is suited for industrial and heavy-duty MIG welding environments where steel welding wire is the primary filler material. Applications include structural fabrication shops, shipyards, manufacturing lines, and any operation running high-amperage continuous wire feed. It is offered in the R44 and R45 series liner configurations and is also compatible with PULSEMASTER and PullMaster MIG gun platforms. Shops running extended duty cycles at 500 amps and above will find this liner well matched to sustained production demands.
Designed for use with TWECO R44 and R45 series MIG guns as well as PULSEMASTER and PullMaster MIG guns using steel welding wire in the 0.052-inch to 1/16-inch diameter range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welder or MIG gun technician with the welding machine powered off and the wire feeder disengaged. Trim the liner to the correct length before inserting to avoid kinking or buckling inside the cable assembly. Verify that the liner end fittings seat fully into the gun neck and feeder connection before resuming wire feed. Follow the gun manufacturer's service documentation for proper liner retention and end prep procedures.
