The TWECO 1450-1104 is a steel wound conduit liner designed for MIG welding applications using steel welding wire. It accommodates wire diameters from 0.035 to 0.045 inches and supports amperage ranges from 500 to 650 amps, making it suited for heavy-duty welding operations. At 15 feet in length, this liner fits inside standard MIG gun cables and guides wire smoothly from the wire feeder to the contact tip. Welding technicians and fabricators install this liner as a wear component that requires periodic replacement to maintain consistent wire feed and arc stability.
This liner is designed for use with steel welding wires in industrial and production welding environments. It is compatible with TWECO R44 and R45 series liners as well as PULSEMASTER and PullMaster MIG guns. It is appropriate for both shop and field welding setups where high-amperage MIG processes demand reliable wire guidance over the full length of the gun cable.
Designed for use with TWECO R44 and R45 series MIG guns as well as PULSEMASTER and PullMaster MIG guns. Intended for use with steel welding wire in the 0.035 to 0.045 inch diameter range.
Conduit liner replacement is performed by welding equipment technicians or experienced welders. Disconnect and de-energize the welder and wire feeder before beginning any liner service. Feed the liner through the gun cable from the feeder end and trim to the appropriate length before securing end fittings. Follow the MIG gun manufacturer's liner installation procedure to ensure proper seating and wire feed performance.
