The TWECO 1450-1026 is a steel wound conduit liner designed for robotic MIG welding applications. It guides solid steel welding wire through the gun cable assembly, maintaining consistent wire feed and reducing friction during continuous or high-duty-cycle operation. Compatible with wire diameters from 0.035 to 0.045 inches, this liner is built for use with TWECO PULSEMASTER and PullMaster MIG guns. At 15 feet in length and weighing 1.26 pounds, it suits robotic weld cells where longer cable assemblies are standard. Licensed welding technicians and robotic welding integrators typically handle liner replacement during scheduled preventive maintenance intervals.
This liner is applied in robotic and semi-automatic MIG welding setups where steel wire is the consumable. The R44 and R45 series liner classification covers a range of gun configurations common in fabrication shops, automotive production, and heavy manufacturing environments. The 0.035 to 0.045 inch wire range makes it suitable for structural, sheet metal, and general fabrication weld processes running solid steel wire. It is sold individually and is a direct-fit component for compatible TWECO robotic gun assemblies.
Designed for use with TWECO PULSEMASTER and PullMaster MIG guns, including R44 and R45 series liner applications using solid steel welding wire in robotic gun assemblies.
Liner replacement is performed by welding technicians or robotic cell maintenance personnel. Power down and de-energize the welding system and robotic arm before removing the gun cable assembly. Cut the liner to final length only after routing it through the cable to avoid misalignment. Follow the gun manufacturer's liner retention and trim procedure to ensure proper wire feed geometry and avoid wire feed faults.
