The TWECO 1420-1142 is a Teflon conduit liner engineered for MIG welding applications that require smooth, consistent aluminum wire feed. Teflon construction reduces friction along the wire path, which is critical when running soft aluminum wire that can deform or bird-nest inside standard steel liners. The liner measures 15 feet in length and is sized to guide wire in the 0.030 to 3/64 inch diameter range. A brass alloy machined stop on the back end provides a positive, repeatable seating position in the gun body. This liner is installed by welding technicians during gun maintenance or wire changeover on compatible Mini-MIG platforms.
This conduit liner is suited for light-industrial and fabrication environments where aluminum MIG welding is performed. It is compatible with Tweco Mini-MIG guns as well as the 35TF series, PULSEMASTER, and PullMaster MIG gun platforms. Typical applications include aluminum structural welding, sheet metal fabrication, and maintenance welding where aluminum filler wire is required. The part number is roll-stamped directly on the brass stop for quick identification during inventory and replacement cycles.
Designed for use with Tweco Mini-MIG guns, 35TF series MIG guns, PULSEMASTER MIG guns, and PullMaster MIG guns. Intended for aluminum welding wire in the 0.030 to 3/64 inch diameter range.
Conduit liner replacement is performed by a qualified welding equipment technician. Disconnect the MIG gun from the wire feeder and power source before removing the existing liner. Ensure the brass stop seats fully and squarely against the gun body to prevent wire feed irregularities. Do not force or kink the liner during installation, as Teflon liners can be damaged by sharp bends.
