The TWECO 1420-1125 is a steel wound conduit liner designed to guide steel welding wire through MIG gun cable assemblies with consistent, low-friction feed. Rated for use at 180 to 250 amps, this liner measures 25 feet in length and accommodates wire diameters from 0.040 to 0.045 inches. Steel wound construction provides durability under continuous wire feed conditions and resists kinking and compression common in longer cable runs. Licensed welders and MIG technicians rely on correctly matched liners to prevent wire feed issues, bird-nesting, and erratic arc performance.
This liner is intended for MIG welding applications using steel welding wire in both production and fabrication environments. It is part of the TWECO R44 and R45 series liner lineup and is also compatible with PULSEMASTER and PullMaster MIG guns. Typical installations involve replacement during scheduled gun maintenance or when feed problems are traced to liner wear. Suitable for shop floor and field welding setups where 25-foot cable runs are standard.
Designed for use with TWECO R44 and R45 series MIG guns as well as PULSEMASTER and PullMaster MIG guns. Intended for use with steel welding wire in the 0.040 to 0.045 inch diameter range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welder or MIG gun technician. Disconnect and de-energize the welding power source and remove the wire spool before replacing the liner. Feed the liner through the cable assembly from the gun end and trim to length per the gun manufacturer's guidelines. Ensure the liner seats fully at both the torch neck and the wire feeder inlet to prevent gaps that cause wire feed resistance.
