The TWECO 1420-1103 is a conduit liner designed to guide welding wire through a MIG welding gun cable assembly. It fits inside the gun conduit and provides a low-friction path for wire feed, protecting the wire from kinking and reducing drive roll wear. This liner is sized for 0.023 inch wire, making it appropriate for light-gauge MIG welding applications. Welding technicians and fabricators install conduit liners as routine consumable replacements to maintain consistent wire feed performance and reduce downtime on the weld cell.
This liner is suited for use in MIG welding setups where 0.023 inch solid or flux-core wire is run through a compatible TWECO-style gun and cable assembly. It is commonly installed in light industrial, automotive, and fabrication shop environments. Replacement is typically indicated when wire feed becomes erratic, resistance increases through the conduit, or visible wear or debris buildup is present inside the liner.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement conduit liner for TWECO-compatible MIG welding gun and cable assemblies using 0.023 inch wire.
Conduit liner replacement is performed by welding equipment technicians or experienced welders. Before servicing, disconnect the welding gun from the wire feeder and power down the welding machine. The liner is threaded through the gun cable from the feeder end and seated at both the contact tip end and the feeder connection. Ensure the liner length is appropriate for the gun cable length and trim only with tools recommended for liner trimming to avoid frayed ends that can cause feed obstruction.
