The TWECO 1400-1143 is a steel wound conduit liner engineered for use with steel welding wires in MIG welding applications. This liner guides the wire electrode through the gun cable, reducing friction and maintaining consistent wire feed speed. At 15 feet in length and rated for up to 160 amps, it suits demanding production welding environments. The 0.040 to 0.045 inch wire diameter range covers common mild steel wire sizes used in structural, fabrication, and manufacturing work. Welding technicians and MIG gun service professionals are the primary installers of this component.
This conduit liner is suited for use in MIG welding setups where steel wire is the electrode of choice. It is compatible with TWECO PULSEMASTER and PullMaster MIG guns, as well as guns in the R44 and R45 series liner configurations. Typical install scenarios include liner replacement during scheduled gun maintenance or when wire feed inconsistency points to liner wear or contamination. It is sold and packaged as a single unit.
Designed for use with TWECO PULSEMASTER and PullMaster MIG guns, and compatible with R44 and R45 series conduit liner configurations. Intended for use with steel welding wires in the 0.040 to 0.045 inch diameter range.
Liner replacement is performed by welding equipment technicians or experienced MIG gun service personnel. Before removing or installing a conduit liner, power down the welding system and disconnect it from the power source. Feed the liner carefully through the gun cable without kinking or forcing it, as damage to the liner affects wire feed consistency. Follow the gun manufacturer's service documentation for trim length and retaining hardware reassembly.
