The TWECO 1260-1635 is a brass flush nozzle designed for MIG welding torches, built for light to medium duty applications rated up to 250 amps. This nozzle uses a 3-piece design: a housing cut and formed from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, a nozzle insert machined from solid brass, and a nozzle insulator constructed from G7 silicone material. The 3/8 inch bore and flush contact tip relationship of 0.062 inches places the tip close to the work piece, which is suited for shorter electrical stick-out and tighter arc lengths. The part number is rolled and stamped on the external surface for fast identification in the field. Sold in a pack of 2.
This nozzle is intended for light to medium duty MIG welding operations up to 250 amps. The flush tip geometry is typically selected when a shorter electrical stick-out is used, resulting in shorter or tighter arc lengths and bringing the contact tip closer to the work piece. It is installed by licensed welding professionals and skilled tradespeople performing production welding, fabrication, or maintenance welding tasks. The nozzle threads onto a standard EL gas diffuser, making it a straightforward drop-in for compatible torch setups.
Threads onto a standard EL gas diffuser. Designed for MIG welding torch assemblies rated for light to medium duty welding up to 250 amps with a 3/8 inch bore requirement.
Installation is performed by welding technicians or qualified tradespeople. Before replacing the nozzle, disconnect and power down the welding machine and allow all components to cool fully. Thread the nozzle onto the EL gas diffuser by hand first to avoid cross-threading, then snug by hand or with the appropriate torch tool. Inspect the nozzle insulator and insert for wear at each replacement interval.
