The TWECO 1244-1120 is a tellurium copper alloy nozzle designed for water-cooled MIG welding conductor tubes. It features a 5/8-inch (0.625-inch) bore and is rated for medium to heavy duty welding applications up to 400 amps. The nozzle threads directly onto the outer jacket assembly of water-cooled conductor tubes and includes a G7 silicone spatter shield. The part number is roll-stamped on the exterior surface for fast identification in the field. Licensed welding professionals and fabricators working with high-amperage MIG setups are the primary installers of this component.
This nozzle is suited for medium and heavy duty MIG welding environments where sustained high-amperage output demands consistent thermal management and dimensional stability. The tellurium copper alloy construction supports efficient heat dissipation, making it appropriate for production welding and demanding fabrication applications. It is compatible with Tweco and Tweco Supra MIG guns and is sold individually as a single unit per pack.
Compatible with Tweco and Tweco Supra MIG guns using water-cooled conductor tube assemblies with standard outer jacket threading.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding technician familiar with water-cooled MIG gun assemblies. Disconnect and de-energize the welding power source and shut off the cooling water supply before removing or installing the nozzle. Thread the nozzle onto the outer jacket assembly by hand first to avoid cross-threading, then snug with appropriate tooling. Inspect the included silicone spatter shield for proper seating before returning the gun to service.
