The TWECO 1240-1336 is a water-cooled robotic MIG welding nozzle rated for medium to heavy-duty applications up to 400 amps. The nozzle housing is machined from tellurium copper alloy bar stock, providing consistent dimensional stability and efficient heat dissipation during high-cycle robotic welding operations. A nickel-plated finish and bottle-shaped geometry complement the straight inner-diameter bore at the front end, which allows thorough cleaning of the sidewall surfaces and maintains reliable shielding gas flow. Each unit ships with a G7 silicone spatter shield. The part number is roll-stamped on the exterior for fast field identification.
The 1240-1336 is designed for robotic and fixed-automation MIG gun assemblies used in industrial weld cells. Its 0.5 inch diameter bore and threaded connection onto the outer jacket assembly of water-cooled conductor tubes make it well suited for integration with nozzle cleaning stations commonly incorporated into robotic weld cell layouts. Typical installations involve medium to heavy-duty continuous or semi-continuous welding processes where consistent gas coverage and repeatable nozzle geometry are critical to weld quality.
Designed for use with robotic and fixed-automation MIG guns, specifically compatible with the RCW24 water-cooled conductor tube assembly. Suitable for nozzle cleaning stations integrated into robotic weld cells.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding technician or automation integrator. Shut down and de-energize the welding power source and water-cooling system before removing or installing the nozzle. Thread the nozzle onto the outer jacket assembly of the water-cooled conductor tube by hand until seated, then verify the spatter shield is properly positioned before resuming operation. Confirm shielding gas flow and water-cooling circuit integrity before returning the system to service.
