The TWECO 1240-1310 is a 3-piece robotic MIG nozzle assembly designed for use with robotic and fixed automation MIG guns up to 600 amps. The nozzle housing is machined from tellurium copper alloy bar for effective heat dissipation. A solid brass insert allows the internal threads to be precisely machined to match the gas diffuser. A G7 silicone insulator provides electrical isolation between the nozzle and gas diffuser. The bottle-shaped geometry and 1/2 inch bore diameter support consistent shielding gas flow. This assembly features a 5/32 inch protruding tip configuration, making it suited for applications where longer electrical stick-out is required.
This nozzle assembly is intended for medium to heavy duty MIG welding applications in robotic and fixed automation weld cells. The protruding tip design is typically used when welding open root pipe or tight weld joints where the contact tip must reach deeper into the joint. The straight inner bore at the front end of the nozzle supports effective cleaning by automated nozzle cleaning stations, which are commonly integrated into robotic weld cells. Suitable for light to medium duty automated welding cycles up to 600 A. The part number is roll-stamped on the outside surface for easy field identification.

Installation is performed by qualified welding equipment technicians or automation integrators. Disable and lock out the welding power source and robotic cell before servicing front-end consumables. Confirm the gas diffuser thread pattern matches the brass insert before torquing the nozzle assembly into place. Inspect the G7 silicone insulator for damage during each consumable change to maintain proper electrical isolation.
