The TWECO 1240-1205 is a slip-on tip recess nozzle designed for use with 450 A Tweco SprayMaster MIG guns in medium to heavy-duty welding applications. The nozzle features a 0.625-inch bore, a 0.875-inch OD, and a 3.1-inch length. It is constructed with a 3-piece design: a nozzle housing cut and formed from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, a nozzle insert machined from solid brass, and a nozzle insulator made from G7 silicone material. The brass insert is crimped in place so the nozzle slides over the metal spring of the gas diffuser. The part number is rolled-stamped on the outer surface for quick field identification. Sold in packs of 2.

This nozzle fits standard gas diffusers and is rated for welding applications up to 450 A. The recessed tip geometry provides a flush contact tip relationship of 0.062 inches, making it suited for higher-heat applications where longer electrical stick-out is required and for situations where the nozzle may contact the workpiece, such as tack, spot, and stitch welding.
