The TWECO 1240-1204 is a heavy duty MIG welding nozzle designed for use with 450 A Tweco SprayMaster MIG guns. The nozzle features a 1/2 inch bore, a 0.875 inch outer diameter, and measures 3.21 inches in length. It is constructed from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing using a three-piece design that integrates a nozzle housing, a solid brass machined insert, and a G7 silicone insulator. No additional insulator is required. The part number is roll-stamped on the outer surface for fast field identification. Sold as a 2-piece pack, this nozzle is intended for licensed welding professionals and fabricators working in medium to heavy duty applications.
This nozzle fits standard gas diffusers used on Tweco SprayMaster MIG guns rated up to 450 A. It is suited for medium to heavy duty welding environments where high heat output and extended run times are routine. The recessed tip geometry makes it appropriate for applications requiring longer electrical stick-out or situations where the nozzle may contact the workpiece, such as tack, spot, and stitch welding. The nozzle insert slides over the metal spring of the gas diffuser, and the G7 silicone insulator provides the electrical isolation needed between the nozzle and diffuser body.
