The TWECO 1230-1300 is a 23 Series MIG welding nozzle designed for use with Tweco No. 3 MIG guns rated up to 450 amps. The nozzle features a 3/8-inch (0.375 inch) bore and measures 3.25 inches in length. It is built with a 3-piece construction: a nozzle housing cut and formed from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, a nozzle insert machined from solid brass, and a nozzle insulator constructed from G7 silicone material. The recessed contact tip relationship is 0.125 inches tapered. The part number is roll-stamped on the outer surface for quick identification in the field. Sold in a pack of 2. The 1230-1300 is suited for heavy-duty MIG welding applications drawing up to 450 amps. It is designed for use with a standard gas diffuser and is compatible with Tweco No. 3 MIG guns. The nozzle insert is machined to allow internal threads that match the conductor tube OD threads, simplifying drop-in replacement during routine gun maintenance. The G7 silicone insulator provides the electrical isolation needed between the nozzle and gas diffuser without requiring a separate insulator component, making it a practical choice for high-amperage production welding environments.

Installation and replacement should be performed by a qualified welding technician. Always power down the MIG gun and disconnect from the wire feeder before removing or installing consumables.
