The TWECO 1230-1230 is a 23 Series self-insulated MIG welding nozzle designed for use with standard gas diffusers on heavy-duty welding applications rated up to 450 amps. The nozzle threads directly onto the conductor tube assembly, eliminating the need for a separate insulator. It features a 3/4 inch bore and a 9/16 inch-18 UNC-2B thread size, making it suitable for applications that require longer electrical stick-out or where the nozzle may contact the workpiece. Constructed from 122 DHP copper alloy, this nozzle delivers reliable conductivity and durability under sustained high-amperage welding conditions. Sold in a 2-pack.

Installation is performed by qualified welding technicians. Disconnect and de-energize the welding power source before replacing any gun consumables. Thread the nozzle onto the conductor tube assembly by hand until snug, taking care not to cross-thread the UNC-2B threads. Inspect the nozzle insulator for cracking or spatter buildup during routine maintenance and replace the nozzle as a unit when wear affects arc performance.
