The TWECO 1230-1221 is a heavy-duty MIG welding nozzle designed for use with standard gas diffusers in high-amperage welding applications. Built to handle up to 450 amps, this nozzle features a 5/8-inch (0.625-inch) bore and an overall length of 3.219 inches with a 0.97-inch outer diameter. It uses a 9/16-inch-18 UNC-2B thread and is constructed in a three-piece configuration: a copper alloy nozzle housing, a solid brass machined nozzle insert, and a silicone nozzle insulator. The part number is rolled-stamped on the outer surface for fast identification in the field. Sold as a pack of 2.
This nozzle is suited for heavy-duty MIG welding operations in industrial, fabrication, and structural welding environments where sustained high-amperage output is required. The 0.125-inch to 0.156-inch recess contact tip relationship supports consistent arc performance.
