The TWECO 1220-1121 is a short stop MIG welding nozzle constructed from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, designed for use with standard gas diffusers on Tweco No. 2 MIG guns rated up to 250 amps. The nozzle measures 2.1 inches in length with a 5/8 inch (0.625 inch) bore and a 3/4 inch outer diameter. The housing is cut and formed directly from copper alloy tubing for consistent wall integrity. An adjustable design allows the technician to set the contact tip and nozzle relationship to recessed, flush, or protruding positions depending on joint access and heat requirements. Sold as 2 per pack.
This nozzle is suited for light to medium duty MIG welding applications up to 250 amps. A recessed tip position is appropriate for higher heat applications requiring longer electrical stick-out or where the nozzle may contact the work piece during tack, spot, or stitch welding. A flush tip position works well when shorter electrical stick-out and tighter arc lengths are needed. A protruding tip position is used when welding open root pipe or any joint requiring the gun to reach into a tight weld joint. The nozzle slides over the standard nozzle insulator without modification.

Installation is performed by a qualified welding technician. Disconnect and de-energize the MIG gun and ensure the wire feeder is off before servicing front-end consumables. Slide the nozzle over the nozzle insulator and adjust to the desired tip recess or protrusion before securing. Inspect the nozzle insulator for wear or spatter buildup during each nozzle replacement.
