The TWECO 1210-1346 is a 3-piece, slip-on MIG welding nozzle rated for up to 180 amperes in light- to medium-duty air-cooled applications. The nozzle housing is cut and formed from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing. The insert is machined from solid brass with internal threads matched to the gas diffuser. The insulator is molded from G7 silicone material, providing the electrical isolation required between the nozzle and diffuser. This self-insulated design eliminates the need for a separate external insulator. The part number is rolled-stamped on the outside surface for fast identification in the field.
This nozzle fits the Tweco Weldskill 21 Series air-cooled MIG gun platform. It is suited for light- to medium-duty fabrication, maintenance, and repair welding where duty cycles and heat input remain within the 180 A rating. The slip-on attachment style allows fast nozzle changes without tools, making it practical for production environments where downtime between passes needs to stay short. Tip recess is flush to 1/16 inch, accommodating standard contact tip setback preferences for short-circuit and globular transfer processes.
Designed for use with the Tweco Weldskill 21 Series air-cooled MIG gun and compatible gas diffusers in that platform. Threads directly onto the gas diffuser with matching internal thread machining.
Installation is performed by welding technicians or maintenance personnel familiar with MIG gun consumable service. Before changing the nozzle, power down the welding machine and allow the gun neck to cool to avoid burns from residual heat. Slip the nozzle onto the gas diffuser and rotate until fully seated. Inspect the G7 silicone insulator for cracking or carbon tracking at each replacement interval, as insulator degradation can cause short-circuit faults between the nozzle and diffuser.
