The TWECO 1210-1342 is a 3-piece slip-on MIG welding nozzle designed for light to medium duty GMAW applications rated up to 180 amperes. The nozzle housing is cut and formed from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing for efficient heat dissipation. The internal insert is machined from solid brass with threads sized to match the gas diffuser. A G7 silicone insulator provides the required electrical isolation between the nozzle and diffuser, eliminating the need for a separate add-on insulator. The 5/8-inch bore and tapered design promote stable shielding gas coverage at the weld zone. Licensed welding technicians and fabricators install this nozzle as part of routine consumable maintenance on air-cooled MIG gun setups.
The 1210-1342 fits into the Weldskill 21 Series air-cooled MIG gun platform. It is suited for production welding, fabrication shops, and maintenance welding environments where amperages stay at or below 180 amps. The slip-on attachment method allows fast nozzle changes during production runs. A tip recess of 1/8 inch to 5/32 inch is specified for this nozzle, which affects arc visibility and spatter accumulation characteristics at the contact tip. The part number is rolled-stamped on the exterior surface for quick identification in the field.
Designed for use with the Tweco Weldskill 21 Series air-cooled MIG gun platform. Threads onto the gas diffuser of compatible 21 Series torch bodies.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welder or welding technician. Power down the welding machine and allow the gun to cool completely before removing the spent nozzle. Slip the replacement nozzle onto the gas diffuser and confirm it seats fully with no gap that could allow arc flash to the diffuser body. Inspect the contact tip and gas diffuser for wear before installing a new nozzle, as worn upstream consumables shorten nozzle service life.
