The TWECO 1210-1120 is a self-insulated copper MIG welding nozzle designed for use with Tweco No. 1 MIG guns rated up to 180 amps. Built from 122 DHP copper alloy, the nozzle features a 5/8-inch (0.625-inch) bore and measures 2.224 inches in length with a 3/4-inch outer diameter. Its three-piece construction integrates the housing, insert, and insulator into a single assembly, eliminating the need for a separate insulator. The part number is rolled-stamped on the outer surface for fast identification in the field. This item is sold as a pack of 2.
This nozzle is suited for light to medium duty MIG welding applications up to 180 amps. It is a thread-on design that mounts directly onto a standard gas diffuser via M11-1.5-6H threads, making it a practical replacement nozzle for production welding, fabrication shops, and maintenance welding environments. The recessed contact tip relationship of 0.125 inches to 0.156 inches makes it appropriate for higher-heat applications, tack welding, spot welding, and stitch welding where the nozzle may contact the workpiece.
Designed for use with Tweco No. 1 MIG guns and standard gas diffusers rated up to 180 amps.
Installation is performed by welding professionals or qualified maintenance technicians. Always power down the MIG welder and disconnect the gun from the power source before replacing nozzle components. Thread the nozzle onto the gas diffuser by hand until snug — do not overtighten, as this can damage the nozzle insert threads or the diffuser. Inspect the nozzle insulator and insert for spatter buildup or wear during routine front-end maintenance.
