The TWECO 1160-1104 is a 16 Series Standard Heavy Duty MIG contact tip designed for 0.045-inch wire with a 0.054-inch nominal bore. It measures 1.5 inches in length and is machined from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, delivering consistent inside diameter surface finish held to a tolerance of plus or minus 0.003 inches. The tip uses an M8 x 1.25-6g thread and features a thick-walled construction that acts as a heat sink, drawing heat away from the arc. Installation Notes

Contact tips are installed and replaced by welding technicians as routine MIG gun consumables. Power down and disconnect the welding machine before replacing the contact tip. Thread the tip into the gas diffuser finger-tight using the M8 x 1.25-6g thread; do not overtighten, as this can damage the diffuser seat. When the current wear point is reached, twist the tip a quarter turn clockwise to expose a new wear surface before full replacement.
