The TWECO 1160-1103 is a 16 Series Standard Heavy Duty MIG contact tip designed for 0.040-inch diameter welding wire with a 0.048-inch nominal bore. At 1.5 inches in length, it is machined from extruded or gun-drilled 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, delivering a consistent, smooth inside diameter held to plus or minus 0.003 inches tolerance. The thick-walled construction acts as a heat sink, drawing heat away from the arc source. This contact tip carries an M8 x 1.25-6g thread and a 0.375-inch OD. It is installed and serviced by certified welders and MIG gun technicians working in heavy-duty industrial and fabrication environments rated up to 600 amps.

This tip is suited for heavy-duty MIG welding applications up to 600 amps. It is compatible with Tweco Spray Master 350-600 A MIG guns and Tweco No. 6 MIG guns, as well as specific compatible MIG gun series. The twist-lock design engages the gas diffuser without relying on threads alone, increasing the electrical contact surface area between the tip and diffuser. When the active wear point is reached, a quarter-turn clockwise rotation exposes a new wear point, effectively doubling service life before replacement is needed.
