The tip is machined from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, producing a consistent, smooth inside diameter held to a tolerance of plus or minus 0.003 inches. A 1/4-inch-28 UNF-2A threaded connection ensures solid contact with the gas diffuser when installed in the MIG gun.
