The TWECO 1140-1109 is a standard-duty MIG contact tip designed for 5/64-inch welding wire with a 0.090-inch nominal bore diameter. Measuring 1.5 inches in length, it is machined from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing using an extrusion or gun-drill process. This manufacturing method produces a consistent, smooth inside diameter surface held to a tolerance of plus or minus 0.003 inches. The tip features a threaded style with a 1/4-inch-28 UNF-2A thread and a 1/4-inch OD, ensuring positive contact with a gas diffuser when installed. Sold in packs of 25, these tips are intended for licensed welding technicians and shop personnel working in standard MIG welding applications.

The 1140-1109 is rated for use in standard MIG welding applications up to 400 amps. It is compatible with the Tweco No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 MIG gun platforms as well as specific Tweco MIG gun series. The thick-walled copper alloy construction acts as a heat sink, drawing heat away from the arc source during extended operation. Installation Notes
