Measuring 1.5 inches in length with a 1/4 inch-28 UNF-2A thread, it is machined from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing — either extruded or gun-drilled — to deliver a consistent, smooth inside diameter held to a tolerance of plus or minus 0.003 inches. The thick-walled construction acts as a heat sink, drawing heat away from the arc.
