The TWECO 1064-1116 is a water-cooled MIG welding gun rated at 600 amps with a 100 percent duty cycle, designed for continuous, high-amperage welding operations in demanding industrial environments. The gun ships at a 15-foot cable length and accepts wire diameters up to 1/16 inch. It features an ergonomic handle engineered to reduce operator fatigue during extended weld cycles, along with high water flow rates and large-diameter water lines that provide aggressive front-end cooling to extend consumable life. A Tweco-style rear connector simplifies hookup and field service. The standard conductor tube is part number WCS66-60 and the conduit liner is the 45 Series.
The 1064-1116 is built for heavy industrial and high-production welding applications where duty cycle and thermal management are critical. Typical installations include shipbuilding and offshore fabrication yards, structural steel fabrication, automotive manufacturing, and general industrial repair and maintenance shops. The gun connects to Miller- and Lincoln-style machines through simplified direct rear plug connections, and threaded water line connections use left-hand CGA fittings for straightforward integration into existing water-cooled circuits.
Adapts to Miller- and Lincoln-style welding machines. Standard conductor tube WCS66-60 (Stock No. 1664-1106) is used on all guns up to 15 feet. Conduit liner is the 45 Series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified welding equipment technician or electrician familiar with water-cooled MIG gun systems. Power down the welding machine and shut off the water cooling supply before making any connections or disconnections. Verify that water line fittings are fully threaded and leak-free before resuming operation, as inadequate cooling flow will damage the gun and front-end consumables. Follow the welding machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable facility electrical codes when connecting the rear plug assembly.
