The TWECO 1048-1285 is the Eliminator 450A MIG gun, an air-cooled semiautomatic welding gun designed for professional MIG welding in shop, production, and maintenance environments. It accommodates wire diameters from 0.035 to 0.045 inches and delivers a 60% duty cycle when used with CO2 gas. The 15-foot power cable features a Lincoln-style rear connection and is engineered for reliable wire feedability. A metal-jacketed, articulating conductor tube built with three-layer construction -- copper tube, silicone resin fiberglass insulator, and metal jacket -- provides durability under continuous use. Licensed welders and fabricators in light industrial and production settings are the primary installers.

The 1048-1285 suits a wide range of applications including farm maintenance, shop fabrication, artistic metalwork, and production welding. It supports spray transfer and pulse welding modes with straight CO2 or mixed shielding gases.
