The TWECO 1048-1261 is the Eliminator series air-cooled MIG welding gun, rated at 450 amps and built for demanding production and maintenance welding environments. It accepts wire sizes from 0.045 inches to 1/16 inch and ships with a 15-foot power cable. The gun features a Miller-style rear connection and a fully insulated Mig-Kwik connector that allows quick connect and disconnect at the wire feeder. A patented cam-style contact tip interface eliminates threaded engagement, increasing surface contact between the tip and gas diffuser for improved tip life and conductivity.

This gun is suited for a wide range of welding applications including spray transfer and pulse welding modes using straight CO2 or mixed shielding gases. It is commonly installed in production shops, maintenance and repair facilities, farm operations, garages, and light fabrication environments. The ergonomic handle design reduces operator fatigue during extended use, and the extended trigger length helps reduce radiated heat to the welder's gloved hand.
