The TWECO 1041-1113 is a 450-amp gasless flux-cored MIG gun designed for heavy-duty welding applications where shielding gas is not used. Built around a one-piece, high-impact-resistant straight handle with a metal paddle-style trigger lever and micro-switch trigger design, this gun delivers reliable start/stop wire feed control on demanding job sites. The power cable runs 15 feet and is constructed for proven abrasion and heat resistance. Spare trigger leads are stored in the cable housing, and the conduit is fully replaceable, reducing long-term service costs for shops and field crews that run the gun hard.
The 1041-1113 is suited for ship and offshore yard work, steel industry fabrication, repair and maintenance operations, and general industrial and automotive fabrication. The front-end consumables are heavy-duty rated and interchangeable with other leading flux-cored guns, which simplifies consumable stocking. The gun accepts all gasless wires and is rated at 60 percent duty cycle when used with CO2 gas. Its one-piece handle allows the welder to position the trigger at either the top or bottom of the handle grip, accommodating different welding positions and operator preference.
Designed for use with all gasless flux-cored wires and rated as a heavy-duty replacement or primary gun for ship and offshore yards, steel industry, repair and maintenance, and industrial and general fabrication applications. Front-end consumables are interchangeable with other leading flux-cored MIG guns.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified welder or welding equipment technician familiar with MIG and flux-cored wire feed systems. Disconnect and de-energize the wire feeder and welding power source before connecting or servicing the gun. Verify that the liner and contact tip are correctly seated before resuming operation. Consult the equipment manufacturer guidelines and applicable AWS or facility safety standards when setting up for production use.
