Product Description

The TWECO 1040-1342 is a SUPRA XT Series air-cooled MIG gun rated at 450 amps with a 15-foot lead cable. It accommodates wire up to 1/16 inch and is designed for semi-automatic MIG welding in medium to heavy-duty fabrication environments. The gun features a 60-degree metal jacket conductor tube that swivels 360 degrees around the handle and is built with three-layer construction for durability. A fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection enables quick hookup and disconnection at the wire feeder. Licensed welders and fabrication professionals working in production and maintenance settings are the primary installers and operators.

The 1040-1342 is suited for medium and heavy-duty fabrication across a wide range of environments including shops, maintenance and repair operations, and production facilities. The 15-foot Cablehoz lead cable includes a Miller-style rear connection, making it compatible with Miller wire feeder setups. The gun supports spray transfer and pulse modes and operates with straight CO2 or mixed shielding gases.
