Product Description

The TWECO 1040-1286 is the Eliminator series air-cooled MIG gun rated at 450 amps with a 60% duty cycle using CO2 gas. It accepts wire up to 1/16 inch in diameter and ships with a 15-foot power cable built for solid wire feedability. The conductor tube uses a three-layer construction — copper tube, silicone resin fiberglass insulator, and metal jacket — and articulates 360 degrees around the handle via a ball-and-socket design. The fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection allows fast connect and disconnect at the wire feeder without disturbing the conduit. Licensed HVAC technicians, welders, and fabricators working in production or maintenance environments install this gun for spray transfer and pulse welding modes.

This MIG gun is suited for a broad range of welding environments including farm and agricultural maintenance, fabrication shops, garage and hobbyist metalworking, and production floor applications. The Lincoln-style rear connection makes it a direct fit for Lincoln-compatible wire feeders.
