The TWECO 1040-1137 is a Professional No. 4 Classic Series air-cooled MIG gun rated at 400 amps with a 15-foot lead cable and Miller-style rear connection. Designed for semi-automatic MIG welding, it accommodates wire sizes from 0.045 inches to 1/16 inches and delivers a 60% duty cycle when used with CO2 gas. The conductor tube is mounted at 60 degrees, features a three-layer construction of copper tube, silicon-resin glass insulator, and metal jacket, and swivels a full 360 degrees around the handle. A fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection allows fast hookup and disconnection at the wire feeder. Licensed HVAC, welding, and fabrication professionals install this gun in medium to heavy-duty production and maintenance environments.
This MIG gun is suited for a wide range of applications including production fabrication, maintenance and repair, shop work, and farm and garage use. The Miller-style rear connection makes it a direct fit on compatible Miller wire feeders. The oval-shaped handle is balanced to pivot at its center, reducing grip effort and operator fatigue across extended welding sessions. Front-end consumables are interchangeable with the Tweco Spray Master series and Tweco Professional No. Series, which helps lower inventory costs for shops running multiple guns.

Installation and service of MIG welding equipment should be performed by a qualified welding technician familiar with the wire feeder system in use. Disconnect and lock out all power to the welding system before connecting or disconnecting the gun cable. Ensure the Mig-Kwik connection is fully seated at the feeder before initiating a weld. Follow applicable ANSI and AWS safety standards for welding equipment installation and operation.
