The TWECO 1040-1060 is a Spray Master Series air-cooled MIG gun rated at 450 amps with an 80% duty cycle on argon/CO2 mixed gases. It accepts wire diameters from 0.045 inches to 1/16 inches and features a 10-foot power cable with a Miller-style direct rear plug connection. The conductor tube is thick-walled and three-layer construction, acting as a heat sink to reduce front-end temperatures during extended runs. A heavy-duty contact tip and diffuser extend consumable life and reduce downtime during tip changes. Licensed welders and industrial MIG operators install this gun in high-amperage spray transfer and pulse welding setups.

The 1040-1060 is suited for spray transfer and pulse welding applications using straight CO2 or mixed shielding gases.
